BHC Agility was set up in 2008 to provide additional training and shows in an area of South Wales where a limited number of established clubs struggle to cater for demand.

BHC Agility is run by;

Tracy Bennett
Emma Haines
Rosie Cavill
Martin Cavill
Gareth Curnell

We hold 3 shows a year, October, December and February at Alps Court in Wenvoe, Cardiff, South Wales. The next show series of shows will be on October 17th 2010, December 12th 2010 and February 6th 2011. We will also have some exciting news coming soon about one of this years shows.

We also run training sessions for all abilities from pre-competition upto Grade 7. Between us we have a number of years experience both in judging, competing and training, and all trainers are ACAI Accredited (Agility Club Approved Instructors).

A bit about each of us;

Tracy Bennett - Show Secretary and BHC Secretary. Tracy is the first port of call for all show entries. Tracy currently competes with two Border Terriers, 9 year old Toby and 6 year old Buffy, both Grade 7 and Seren, a 2 year old Border Collie. Tracy and Buffy qualified this year in the Crufts Team Final, held at Crufts 2010 and finished third overall.

Emma Haines - Runs Cwm Farm Agility and has taught and competed for over 25 years with a variety of dogs. Emma currently runs training at Cwm Farm, Caerphilly. Her current competing dog is Dotty, a 6 year old Border Collie.

Rosie Cavill - Rosie currently competes with three Cocker Spaniels, 8 year old Charlie and 7 year old Ellie both in Grade 6, and 4 year old Spice in Grade 7. She also runs Martin's Grade 3 Kelpie, Miah. Spice is a once in a lifetime dog, having been selected to represent Great Britain for the last two years at the European Open in Germany in 2008 and Holland in 2009. Rosie and Spice qualified in the same Crufts Team as Tracy, the Eukanuba Singles Final, Eukanuba Mini/Mixi Pairs Final and Crufts Singles Final all held at Crufts 2010. Rosie finished third overall in both the teams and the Crufts Singles Final.

Martin Cavill - Martin currently competes with Dylan, a 6 year old Cocker Spaniel at Grade 7 and is currently training Zeke, a one year old Border Collie who is a full brother to Tracy's Seren who will hopefully be coming out at Rugby this year if all goes well. Martin qualified with Rosie and Spice for the Eukanuba Mini/Mixi Pairs Final at Crufts 2010.

Gareth Curnell - Former club Chairman at Caerphilly and District Agility Club for 16 years, Gareth has trained and competed at all levels with a mix of Spaniels and Collies. His current dog, 7 year old Todd, competes at Grade 6.
